Anime is not a waste of your time
Here's why

If you don't know this about me. I'm a huge anime nerd or you can call me an Otaku. And I watch them because they inspire me to push past my limits and achieve my goals. Animes besides having good storytelling and animations are a great source of a lot of lessons that you will learn throughout the journey of the protagonist.
Here are a few lessons that I learned from watching anime:
Never Give Up

It is one of the most repeated lessons from animes. It's the cliched line you'll see in every anime. But it's not 100% true. The truth is, you should give up. Give up on the things that don't add value to your life. Things or People who hurt you. Things you're not genuinely passionate about.
But at the same time. Don't give up. Never Give Up on Hope. Never Give Up on your Goals. Never give up on the people who love you back.
There's a difference between knowing when to give up and when to not.
Have Ambitions

If you have watched anime. You know that the protagonist always has an ambition. Like becoming the wizard king or Hokage. And to achieve that dream they always work hard and in that process, a girl or a harem of girls starts falling for him.
And if you were living under the rock this whole, it's also the same with real life. Men with ambition and who are working their ass off to make their ambition a reality are fucking attractive. And you might ask how?
Sorry, I can't go deep into it. But, having ambition and working hard towards it signifies that you will have resources in the future. And resourcefulness if attractive
Push Past Your Limits

The truth is we always set some limits on ourselves. We think that oh, I can only run for 5 minutes. Not more than that. That's just my limit. But in reality, if you just focused on incremental gains, you could have improved yourself by a larger margin.
You can move to the time limits of 10 or 15 minutes of run in a few months. But since you put a limit on yourself, you won't even try to push past that limit.
So, Push Past Your Limits. Because there's always more you can do.
The obstacle is the Way

Most often we get bombarded with problem after problem and we keep getting worried about them as we think that problems and obstacles are there to make our life hard. But in reality, it's just the complete opposite.
Obstacles are a way to test your current skillset. And if you have a low skill set you, won't pass. You'll feel like a failure. But if you keep working hard and you level up and push past the obstacle. Then only you'll realize that the obstacle is the way.
But worry not. Once you pass an obstacle. There will always be another obstacle in line for you.
