I'm writing my first book

I'm halfway into writing my first book when it hit me that I don't have a plan on how I'm going to sell it. I only had the thought that I'm going to do this and this. But I didn't have a concrete plan on How To Actually Do It.

So, I read a lot of threads, watched a lot of youtube videos and read a lot of articles and came up with a plan on how to sell it and I wanted to share the process with you guys.

STEP 1: Landing Page First

I have made a very big mistake until now. I don't have a landing page. I haven't presold the book I'm writing. When I read a lot of articles, the biggest reason people's attempt at selling their first book failed because no one wanted it.

And here's what I'm planning to do. For starters, I'm working on the landing page now and once it's ready. I'm making it live without actually finishing my product and this is to ensure that people want what I have to offer.

I'm currently aiming for 50 Presells. If my offer crosses this limit, I'm going to finish the product and provide it to them. Otherwise, I'm just gonna refund them and scrape the project.

STEP 2: Finishing The Final Product

As I said, I'm only halfway of writing the product and I still have to make a few bonuses that I will be giving with the final product. But I have postponed all of that as I feel I should only work on that once I know that you guys want the final product.

STEP 3: Product Launch

Once the presale is a success, I'll finish the final product and launch it withing the decided timeframe. I'm aiming for a 100 sales using organic methods like Instagram and Medium.

STEP 4: Advertisements and Book Promotions

I have seen for myself how beneficial Adverisements and Book Promotions actually are. And thus I want to include these in my marketing process but I'll only go for these If I have sufficient funds after the presale and launch of my product.

Okay! That's it. This is the simple process I'll be using to sell my first book. Whether it would be a success or a failure completely depends if I'm actually solving a problem or not. So, Fingers crossed. Hope it works.
