Procrastination is not a problem
it is a side effect
Despite all the productivity videos you have watched and articles, you have read. You still procrastinate right? And the answer is simple. They treat procrastination as a problem and try to solve it. But in reality, Procrastination was never the problem.
Instead it is a side effect of a much bigger problem that is stopping you from making progress. Want to know the problem?
Poor Mental Health.
If you were to measure your anxiety and depression score in the NHS mood assessment test. You will have a higher number even if you feel like you don't have poor mental health.
The reason? 90% of us have mild poor mental health. Our mental health is not so bad that it requires clinical treatment or pills.
But it's bad to a level that makes taking action difficult for you. So, What can you do?
Here is my 3-step process to improve your mental health
1) Do "The Science of Well-Being Course". It's completely free. Search for it on Google and you'll find the link.
2) Do bicep curls for your brain. I have written about this in detail in the previous newsletter issue. Refer to it.
3) Do gratitude journaling. Take a pen and paper and as soon as you wake up. Write 2-3 things you're grateful for. Don't just write things for the sake of it. Try to actually feel grateful while writing about things.
That's it. Do these for 14 Days and you will find yourself with rejuvenated energy and you'll be able to do the hard things without even forcing yourself.
Sounds like magic right? Do let me know if this works or not.
