Waiting for the right time?
Here's when you should start
I'll start studying Tomorrow.
I'll start studying at 10 AM.
But as soon as the clock hits 10:07 AM and you haven't started studying yet. You decide you'll start studying at 11 AM.
You don't start exercising because it's the 24th of the Month. You're waiting for the 1st of the Next Month.
If you have been doing any of these, then congratulations and welcome to the club. It's called the Calender Effect.
It simply means that as chronic Procrastinators. You're always tempted to wait for the perfect time to start the work while you're completely aware that starting right now won't do any harm.
And this behavior is simply because you have been training your brain to do this behavior for a long period of time and your brain has made sure that you always start at the perfect time, date, or minute.
But, there's no perfect time or day or minute. It's just right now. Today is the only day you have control over.
You can't control Yesterday or Tomorrow. You can only control today and right now.
Let this be your wake-up call to start that activity you have been procrastinating on for a long long time.
